How would i go about making an automatic employee file when an said employee makes it to the hired stage.
@Cassandra_Kachur thanks for posting and welcome to our community.
To make sure, I understand the question.
You will have an employee (or maybe a job applicant) record and when you change the state of the job applicant to “Hired”, you want to create new Employee Record (file) somewhere to track the new employee?
Do you want to create it in the same database or a different one?
If my understanding is correct:
-
We are working on native automation support shortly as that is next on our roadmap. So you will be able to fire a new automation rule to create the file when the status changes inside AnyDB. This will be available as part of the AnyDB product.
-
You can use our upcoming make.com integration that will be published soon that allows to fire a trigger on a field change to create a new AnyDB document. But that might require a make.com subscription depending upon your volume. See screenshots
Hope that helps.
So yeah, once we have an application come in and the applicant Proceeds to be getting hired I want it to be able to create an employee record.
Ps this is being more used for a game a game called world of warcraft as your structure makes it easy to keep track of applicants set them up where they want to be. And help everyone achieve their goals
noted, that support will be available natively soon.

That’s very cool! Played WoW a long time ago! Didn’t realize it was still going strong.
Let us know if there are other features missing (or bugs you see)!
Just a note, our latest make.com module now supports watching children records of a record for field changes. So that can trigger an action to create a new AnyDB record in another location.
