Like in this screenshot I have a folder with records from the my Company template. Yet with every new record in this folder I always have to choose which template I want to use. Costs me time.
Can a Folder get an attribute that selects the default template to be used for creating a new record in that folder? Otherwise select “any” .
At the moment I can only give a Folder a name.

While you are right that left tree doesn’t have a quick record add of a specific type, you can use the right navigational panel.
In the right panel, you can click on the [+] on the Folder Type section to add a folder without having to specify the type. It just adds a folder.

I see a Folder as a kind of “table” for records of the same kind/template.
Got it, yes that is actually true. Folders are actually tables and it might make sense to restrict folders to only one type of record (just like a table). We will consider this improvement.
With the new “Data” view, you can quickly add a record quickly as well.
