HOUR

Returns the hour (0-23) from a time value.

Syntax

HOUR(time)

Arguments

• time: The time from which to extract the hour.

Example

HOUR("14:30:00") → Returns 14
HOUR(A1) → Returns the hour from the time in cell A1
